CT TECH
Following established protocol and under the medical supervision of certified radiologists, CT technologists will produce computerized tomography scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered/directed by the physician in order to interpret and diagnose patient disease or injury. Technologists will assist the radiologists on procedures as needed and be responsible for supervision of student Radiologic Technologists assigned to them. Encourages and maintains good customer relations.
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals preferred. Successful completion of an accredited Computed Tomography Program preferred.
Experience: One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Registered in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); or current RSFH teammate with a high school diploma or GED and a permanent certification in Radiography from SCRQSA. ARRT registered in CT preferred. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card. Certified or documentation that certification has been applied for with the SCRQSA.
MAMMO TECH
Following established protocol and under the medical supervision of Certified Radiologists, Mammography Technologists will perform procedures for the direct results of interpretation. Technologists will assist the Radiologists on procedures as needed and be responsible for supervision of student Radiologic Technologists assigned to them. Encourages and maintains good customer relations.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals.
Experience: At least 6 months experience in radiologic technology. Completion of 40 hours Mammography training.
Licensure/Certification: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiologic Technology and Mammography. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card. Certified or documentation that certification has been applied for with the SCRQSA.

MRI TECH
Following established protocol and under the medical supervision of certified radiologists, MRI Technologists will perform procedures for the direct results of interpretation. Technologists will assist the radiologists on procedures as needed and be responsible for supervision of student MRI Technologists assigned to them. Encourages and maintains good customer relations.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals.
Experience: Prefer cross-sectional anatomy experience or MRI experience.
Licensure/Certification: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.

RADIOLOGY TECH

ULTRASOUND TECH
Following established protocol and under the medical supervision of certified radiologists, Ultrasound technologists will operate non-invasive imaging equipment using high frequency sound waves to produce direct results for interpretation by physician. Technologists will assist the radiologists on procedures as needed and be responsible for supervision of student Radiological Technologists assigned to them.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals.
Experience: Prefer one-year experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
Licensure/Certification: Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and/or ARRT Ultrasound; or have at least 10 years of recent experience and must obtain registry with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and/or ARRT Ultrasound within six months from date of hire or transfer into position; or current Roper St. Francis Healthcare teammate with at least 20 years of experience. Prefer registered in Abdomen and OB/GYN. If ARRT, must be certified or provide documentation that certification has been applied for with the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card. SCRQSA licensure only required if employee is credentialed as a Radiologic Technologist.
